Evanesence - My Immortal

In Evanesence's My Immortal at the end of the Track there is some Morse Code, anybody know what it is? My Morse is a bit rusty!

Some clever bods have been trying to decipher it and have come up with:

D TW BNE N VR TK EE TM X EEHD MATIEE EEK NA

... and the spaces indicate where they've not been able to "translate" a character (couldn't hear it, due to the foreground music being too loud). However, some other people have actually chatted ot Amy Lee (female front singer from Evanescence) and, when asked about the "clicks" in the song "My Immortal", said, "We get asked that all the time. It's not a hidden message or Morse Code. And it's not some subliminal message." So that's us told then! Having said that, some people are convinced it IS Morse Code and have concluded that it wasn't inputted by a computer, but rather by hand (and done very sloppily at that). No-one can provide a serious "translation" of the Morse Code even though people have tried reversing it etc.

I'm not finished yet. Just had a quick look 'round the Internet and saw this from Ben Moody who plays lead guitar in the band, "It's not Morse code. If someone can find it, I'd love to know what it said. It's actually a preset pattern on a keyboard synthesizer that we were using for sound on that song. And if you sustain the note long enough, it trails off into this beeping that sounds a lot like morse code and we thought that it sounded really cool, so we left it. So it's there by accident to be perfectly honest with you."

That is true as I have the same instrument on my keyboard - I bet they wish they had done a little mystery bit of morse at the end now tho ;o)
