Unknown song from 1981

Hello all.

I heard a song on the radio yesterday. It was on one of those "guess the year" slots. It was played just after Blondie's "Rapture" so it would be from 1981. Some of the lyrics I can remember were "The night is young and the music is mellow and (something) in the air".

The intro guitar bit reminded me of a bit of Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear The Reaper".

Any ideas???


P.S. Why do radio presenter seemingly never tell you titles of the songs you don't know, but constantly tell you ones you already do ???!!
