I wasn't a great fan of Georges until Mrs P insisted I take her to see him in Nottingham some years ago. We had a great night and I was amazed by the mans' talents both as a singer and raconteur.One of the great British eccentrics his death will leave a hole in British entertainment that will take a lot of filling
