You spelled his name incorrectly, it's Protheroe. A quick Internet search reveals http://www.101cd.com/search/artistall.asp?artist=B
RIAN+PROTHEROE I remember the single, also called Pinball. It was excellent. Incidentally, he's now a full-time actor, I saw him at the RSC last year.
