...So after years of physical therapy to recover from the horrific car crash that had ruined both their lives, killed their parents and Jenny's unborn child, the couple finally felt strong enough to try once more to start a family. It wasn't easy, but they were young, and in love, and determined. Eventually Jenny became pregnant, but then Bob lost his job. Times were tough, and unfortunately Bob turned to drink. They began to argue and Jenny came to realise that Bob would not be a good father to their unborn child. Jenny decided that she had to tell Bob that it was time for her to move on. They were walking down the high street on the day that Jenny was going to tell Bob her feelings when a car driven by a drunken driver came speeding around the bend. Bob pushed Jenny to safety, but was hit by the car. Luckily, it seemed his injuries were minor, and the realisation that it could have so easily been him driving the car sobered him up. He gave up drinking, got a new job and became the old Bob that Jenny loved again. What they didn't know was that the second accident had caused a rare condition to develop in Bob's immune system. Two days after their son was born, Bob died... :-)
