I was a huge Bauhaus fan in the late 80s (Goth band) and they were very heavily influenced by Bowie so i loved them even more cos they were still very original even though you could see Bowie's influences!! they did a copy of his tune 'Ziggy Stardust'
We danced together in the street back in 1985!.....oh deary me!!! Sorry! (couldnt resist it)
Me and David recorded it for charity (as part of Live Aid), it was David's last UK number 1 and my only number UK 1 as a solo artist.
Oh dear...just watched it on You Tube..it's shocking! Both trying to out-camp each other.
Seriously I do love Bowie. Saw him live at a festival in Munich about 5 years ago. Brilliant he was. I remember he had big inflatable eyeballs bouncing round the stage....he's a very cool bloke

It should be the law...
I've loved db for a very long time he is part of the furniture of my life ;-)
Saw him once after a gig at the back of the venue (about a metre away) had no film left in my camera - gutted!!! He was wearing a white dressing gown and I was glued to the spot with shock. Had no pen or paper to get an autograph either - gutted again!! Good memory tho!! :-)
