Does anyone know the name of the dramatic music that goes like this: Der Der DERRR! Would like to use it as a drama piece for when something major is about to happen.

if it's Der Der Der DERR it might be Beethoven, but he usually insisted on at least three Ders.

If it's what I think it is it's more of a "dum dum DUMMMMM" and it's been used for years. In some send ups you see characters looking to camera on each "dum". I have kettle drums in mind or violins or something like that.

I agree with jno - it could be Beethoven but it has to be 3 ders - try his Symphony No 5 part 1

It's not three ders- if you think on three notes 1, 2 and 3 then 2 is lower than 1 and 3 is slightly higher than 1.

it sounds like romeo and juliet, ballet suit dance of the knights by prokofiev.
