Shut up and dance did the remix, but Marc Cohn had not given permission for his song to be used. The band were taken to court, the court allowed the 1/4 million copies already pressed to be sold, but no more to be pressed. MARC COHN gave his writing royalties to charity. Cheekily CHER recorded the song which was given the remix treatment.
