Help - unknown song

I've often been amused by people posting looking for songs and they only have the beat to go on, but now i have to do the same. Was in a shop with my daughter yesterday and there was a song on that I need to get.

Female singer, very slow lyrics (like a heartbreaking love song) but the music was a fair bit more uptempo. There were 4 main notes recurring through the song. Sounded almost Abba-ish, but there was a definite modern dance beat behind it

One that springs to mind straight away is 'Avalon' by Juliet. It's a few years old now though, so you might be looking for a newer tune?!?
