Marv Johnson born 15.10.38, singer with The Serenaders when discovered by Barry Gordy signed for Motown in 1965, retired from performing in 1968. The sucess of I'll Pick a Rose for My Rose originally issued in 1966 promoted a brief comeback, he died from a stoke 16.5.93. Other top 10 hit was You Got What it Takes.
