Hey all!
I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me who plays lead guitar on Janis Joplin's 'Summertime'???
I was listening to it for the first time in ages, and it suddenly hit me just how bloomin' good that guitar work was!

The lead guitarist of Big Brother and the Holding Company is/was Sam Andrew. His work on "Summertime", in collaboration with fellow guitarist James Gurley, was listed by Guitar Player magazine as one of the top ten psychedelic "solos" (ha ha!) in music history.
