I heard a party song on my hols recently caled 'Gimme Some' lyric go something like: 'gimme some... of your sweet love' must from about the 70's anyone know the artist??

Jimmy Bo Horne recorded the ORIGINAL version, but the UK chart hit was by Brendon.
Where did you go on holiday cos it was played in Faliraki at the end of July when I was out there. Please don't tell me this is going to be THE summer hit of 2004! Good song though!

Nah wasn't faliraki!! It was the isle of wight! there was a party dance for it they been playing it for years!!
Snap adio, there were some girls who knew a dance to it in Fali too! I wondered how they knew it cos I'd never heard the song before...hmm interesting. Maybe they were from the Isle of Wight!
