The 90s industrial rock that some bands are playing and the audiences are, apparently, appreciating better, is a sign of the times, rock decadence or renewal? What do you think about this?

It's probably elements of both - that's the nature of rock music, long may it continue! If you think it's a signal of rock decadence, maybe your tastes have changed, or you've grown up, or just away from that particular genre. If you think it's rock's renewal, you're probably nearer the mark. Rock, like any style of music, changes and evolves which is what keeps it fresh. Without change, rock wouldn't exist, because we'd still be listening to Mantovani on the radio, and playing 78's on the old Victrola! Music is an organic entity, and it evolves and changes constantly - it is only the opinions of those who listen that denote concepts of decadence or renewal. So, it's both, or neither, depending on where you come from on the issue!
What bands? The dinosaurs that played it at the start of the 90s? It is too dull to be decadence and too derivative to be renewal. Perfect for Generation Zero.
