Can anyone remember a song with the lyrics " I've only to hear you and my heart beats like a drum, like a drum" and the chorus went " Oh wo wee yeh yeh" or something similar.. i can't remember who this was by... please help
Yup, absolutely fantastic record - takes me back to teh Summer of 83 - aah, cider in the park...
Sadly, the singer of the band - can't remember his name - drowned a couple of years ago.
At the time the record was out, I read that Jimmy the Hoover was a South
African slang term fot oral sex.
Jimmy The Hoover were a British pop band, who had a hit single with "Tantalise (Wo Wo Ee Yeh Yeh)". It would be their only hit, reaching number 18 in the UK Singles Chart in June 1983.[1
This makes me laugh cos the same question was asked in yahoo answer and got it wrong but its closed so cant be corrected lol.
Here is the cut/paste:

Need the title of this song!?
This song was a top 40 hit in the UK in 1982-1983. The lyrics I remember are: I've only to hear you and my heart beats like a drum...I've only to see you and my heart beats like a drum, like a drum.
Tried search engines, and it is NOT ATC. Any help appreciated,
thanks
