The increasing success of other music media - CD's, MP3's etc., has increased the steady decline of the pre-recorded cassette. However, some dealers do still stock them or will order for you, although the industry does appear to accept the inevitable - that people will buy or borrow the CD version, and tape it themselves. The much vaunted 'spoiler' technology that was supposed to render such an operation impossible seems to have been quietly forgotten. With computer label scanning, and CD-to-tape copying being simpler and cheaper than ever - the cost of blank cassettes has never been lower, maybe you would like to consider this as a simpler and less expensive option, although of course taping albums is, and always has been, techincally illegal.
