Part of the lyrics (churus?) sound like "in your eyes"

Does this ring a bell with anyone.

Could it be "In Your Eyes" by Kylie Minogue?
Question Author

No it wasn't her - male singer, soulful sound, upbeat.
George Benson had a track called 'In your eyes'.
Question Author
No, it's not the title, it's in the lyrics.
Was it "I Can See It In Your Eyes" by Journey?
I'm more interested in knowing where the over thirties club is actually?

You mean you don't hace them round your way China? - we have loads to choose from round here (NE Essex) usually on a Friday night.
Still think it might be the Benson one as that phrase does appear in the lyrics and it answers your description otherwise.
Question Author
well maybe I should have added I know the benson one, and it defo isn't.
If its a male singer could be Peter Gabriel
Should have added the lyrics you have heard is the title of the song. " In your eyes" by Peter Gabriel.
Not over 30's no... I mean until December I wouldn't be allowed in anyway but it strikes me as a good idea. We've a few over 21's bars around here but that's it.

Don't worry China, it's just the same, only there is a lot of mutton dressed as lamb, and a lot of sad blokes (I'm not one, I go for the dancing and the people watching) standing on the edges drinking pints and then moving in like vultures when the slowies come on.

Still no luck on the song tho.....
