Did The Police play on the Sting tracks on the soundtrack album: Brimstone & Treacle (1982) The Police played 3 tracks but the 3 Sting solo tracks on the same album sound like they have Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland playing on them as well. Anybody Know? Craig

From what I can recall at the time they did play on the tracks Craig. I don't think they played on Spread A Little Happiness though. I'm a huge fan of The Police and Sting and as far as I can gather Sting had invited Stewart to play on a couple of albums, along with Andy who plays guitar on Fragile. Shame that the Brimstone and Treacle album never got the recognition it deserved though.
