So sad, and no age - sixty-five.

Selfishly, that means I really have seen the last Floyd show.

All condolences to his family, including Guy Pratt his son-in-law and Floyd live bassist, whom I interviewed, and was a really sincerely nice guy.

what a terrific loss. His memory will live forever in his music, but he will never be replaced.

Such a terrible shame and a huge loss for all the Floyd fans out there. Im absolutley gutted.
Im a little bit disgusted at the lack of coverage there has been about it i only found out about it on one of those appalling 60 second news bulletins between programmes last night on BBC3. I realise that it isnt as important as when Posh Spice changes her hair style which makes front page news!
