Greys Anatomy song

I want to get the song used on Greys Anatomy at the end of the last series. I think it is Begging but on Itunes there are so many options I dont know who is the artist. I keep missing the name when they play it on radio. Does anyone know? I am sure this may have been asked and answered before but cant find it on this section. Also who had the original version? was it James Brown?

...but based on the assumption that you are referring to the last episode of series 4, this contains the track Mercy by Duffy (an original song co-written by Steve Booker and herself) which has the refrain "...begging you for mercy".
