Do you mean "Tavares"? They did the original version of "it only takes a minute", (covered by Jonathan King aka 100 ton and a feather, and later Take that), the original version of "More than a woman (covered by the Bee Gees) plus Don't take away the music, Heaven must be missin' an angel (stay away from the 80s remix of that, it ain't pleasant!) All in all a great 70s soul-disco band
