I think the question should say, What influence has radio made on R & B? It needs radio to promote because good clubs won't play it, due to it's slow dreary tunes. Hear one and you've heard them all. Real Rhythm & Blues came from the Rolling Stone, Animals, Georgie Fame, Moody Blues, Bo Diddley etc.
