Totally off the film point, but Sinn Fein adopted it as an Unofficial "anthem" in the 90s.

I'm sure it's been used in a few movies. It was on an ad a couple of years ago, Peugeot if I recall.

def in an ad for peugeot also in a film called "warrior's mark" but this film is really obscure so prob not one that you'd be thinking about - it is documentary style and deals with female genital mutilation in african cultures

Lovely song. So it's been adopted by Sinn Fein AND covered by Rik Waller? I'm not sure which is more sickening. :O)
