Thanks a lot Dr Wu...is it ok to get back to you and ask for more chords...think carefully cos I might ask for a lot...smile.
there's a few people on here useful with guitar related questions. I'm actually a bass player who occassionally attempts some cack-handed strumming on a 6 string!
Now Im puzzled,

for years i have played aD7 as

xx0212

what's that then
Just checked Dr Wu's link. Nice site but it says my xx0212 is correct for a D7. so what are you playing?

I think their should be a dedicated musicians thread
Richard, the OP asked for Dm7 not D7.
So he did, My apologies.

See, playing for 20 years and you can still learn new stuff.

Been listening to footy. Thanks for trying Richard and Dr Wu, I will try the site you mentioned.
Question Author
Sorry Dr Wu, the site you gave was no help to me...I suppose it was visual and I'm totally blind and my speech system wouldn't access any chord window/diagram, which is why I need numeric notation.
D = xx0132
Dm=xx0241
Dm7=xx0213

Hi Teram... I don't know where you got your chords from, but the D and the D7 are wrong or I've been playin' 'em wrong for many many years...the Dm7 I'll leave for debate...but Ta Muchly for answering.
ha ha error - your right, typ0
D=xx0232,
D7=xx0213,
Dm=xx0231

fingers out of practice - play more, type less

Question Author
