Red River Rock (ex-Red River Valley) Johnny & the Hurricanes
Type in a search for a few titles online (Google?) and you're sure to find a lot ... like Swing Bands playing old standards etc ... Glen(n) Miller (Little Brown Jug) ... and Rocked-up versions of the Classics like Bee Bumble and the Stingers playing (I think Tchaikovsky's) A-Minor Piano Concerto and calling it ASIA Minor ( or similar!) ... Another good source would be to look at Jazz players (say guitarists ) playing standards ... try Oscar Peterson ... even Winifred Attwell ... and I've heard several bands / jazz players doing Beatles stuff much faster than original tempo ... YESTERDAY, Norwegian Wood, etc.
