Been searching for a CD of this choral work but can only trace ones with German text. Need English words and preferably the Troutbeck version. Anyone seen it in a shop or library?

Sounds very festive in July, but guess you're planning ahead. There seem to be loads of CDs available sung in German, but none in English.

Guess you may need to get a German CD and the English translation of the lyrics too.

Is this what you're looking for musicroom bach? You should be able to find it through your local library or the inter-library lending system.

It does appear to be available on Youtube - but, alas, no singalong bouncing ball.

Thanks for that. Yes it's a bit premature but I'm getting ready to rehearse this with my local choir and wanted the CD to sing along to. We are performing it from the Troutbeck English vocal scores. Libraries my next stop!
