i WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECiate it if some one could tell me a bit about the star Lydia Lunch I think shes either goth or punk, thanks please just let me know a bit about her and stuff thanks!!!!

For trivia fans - one of her earliest drummers was Jim Clavunos, now with the Bad Seeds, and he lost his virginity to her (!)

In the late seventies she was in a band 'teenage jesus and the jerks' - also did albums with 'beirut slump' and 'eight eyed spy'. she did a lot of solo stuff as well - sort of punk/new wave.She was 'friendly' with nick cave and wrote a series of surreal one act plays with him. she also did concerts with cave and amongst others, marc almond under the banner of 'the immaculate consumptive' - which didn't last long due to the usual sex, drugs and booze. that's all I know.
