RE: Bono bragging to Ross that they use 165 trucks to transport the Stage to each gig. Hardly environmentally friendly is it? Now I like U2 and respect Bono as an artist, but is there no end to this man's hypocrisy?

No!! The man (like all those at the wembley gig a while back) and the politicians see the environment as a huge great cash cow.
Did you ever see the Harry Enfield show years ago when Harry and Paul Whitehouse did the sketch in the pub when they pretended to slag off a famous personality?

This reminded me of it and I could just imagine one of them shouting: "Oi! Bono! No!!!" etc etc.

Hilarious.
Such is the way to the stars, fame, and immortality..... maybe he'll make it to Mars yet! On Radio Five recently he was asked where he got the inspiration for 'lines on the horizon' and after digging a hole for himself, he finally fell into it when he ended by saying, it was 'meditive'......(sic)!!!
