Who had a singing guitar?

In the 1960's there was a record made...Am I that easy to forget....by ??????? and his singing guitar....and the words of the song could be heard being 'sung' by the guitar...any idea who it was????

I meant to say : a version of Am I That Easy to Forget ....by Slim Whitman.

Was that the same artist who recorded a few albums including a track called "I'm Just a Guitar-Everybody Picks on Me"??-- I will get his name tomorrow and post in here....

The technique involved a plastic pipe with amplified sound output through it at one end and the other held in the corner of the mouth at a mike. I think that was the basic idea played on a Steel Guitar....
The name came to me in the early morning hours.....

I hope this is the artist you had in mind....I'm not sure about the Slim Whitman record mentioned by Chris....Perhaps Drake was on the session.

that's the one Matheous...thank you sooooooooo much. Hope you didn't have a sleepless night before you got the name.. lol
The name came to me just before I got to sleep -Glad to help....I remember at the time being very impressed with this artist -until I found how it was done!
However- I am going to pursue one or two tracks....
