The Sad People
In 1969 I auditioned for a band from London called "The Sad People" ,we recorded a single called "Lonley Boy" ,,do you have any information anywhere regarding this band,I lived in the Westcountry (Devon)this was a big deal at the time I was 16 and had never played in a proper group before ,I went along to the audition and the gig was mine,I left my job as an apprentice , and spent 2 great years with this band I met someone from Norway a few years ago who was a Translator for Television ,he managed to find some information in a Rock music reference book regarding The Sad People" sadly we lost touch,if any information comes to hand I would be very grateful for any help.
Thank you
Thank you

I found this, a picture of the song LONELY MAN by Sad People (scroll down)

The picture of the single shows it was on the chapter 1 label and had a number of CH113 which may help you find it.

I have been searching for this disc for many years ,my copy was lost when a friend of mine Gary Parr" was helping me unload some equipment from a boat, he was a little bit tips'y he offered to help ,I refused, he still tried, he fell dropped a couple of cases over into Plymouth Sound ,we managed to rescue a few items ,the disc went out to sea now laying at the bottom of the sea .
This has been INCREDIBLE you will never believe how I feel ,Thank you,Thank,Thank you.
