How do we honour a legend?
In case you haven't heard- The legendary Les Paul -guitarist (not the guitar) passed away yesterday aged 94yrs.
Les Paul changed the course of musical history by not only giving the World a great guitar- but by inventing amongst other things - multi-track recording which is now taken for granted and used by just about every recording musician in the studio as well as at home. Although Les' hayday was in the fifties with his then wife, Mary Ford with many successful multi-tracked hits. -Les was in his younger years a very capable solo player and will always be remembered for his very unusual tasteful stylish ear-catching licks very often ending with a very pregnant jazz chord that made you turn your head to listen....
Thank you Les Paul for your astounding contribution RIP
