psycadelic images on dvd

I am throwing a party where everyone has to dress up in neon colours I have the use of a large screen and projector - so I would like to play daft 60's music or beach or jamacan music ( or kind of coca caban stuff - I'll know it when I hear it ) ( someone just shouted good vibrations ( beach boys ) that sounds good ) any way I would like to play it to a background of psycadelic colours and flower power type stuff. I don't think I am explaining this very well but hopefully someone will understand what I want.

I plan to darken the room and buy lots of glow sticks for the revelers - so also is there any ( cheap ) way of making their costumes "glow/ shine in the dark"
please help a daft party organiser - Ps feel free to suggest anything else on this theme that you think would go well at my party XX

hya lyndy, do you want Caribbean or 60s stuff, for Caribbean, you can get palm trees and lanterns at most joke shops
60s night, you would probs have to use like a 'blue lighting' as in Disos of the era to illuminate the colours

bobbi thanks - yes both all it doesn't matter I could start with caribbean and beachy type stuff - we are going to play the limbo and then could end with sixtys disco - every one has to dress up in neon colours but the design of the costume is up to them - palm trees and lanterns sound great any more advise greatfully apriceiated
