Classical music question
Ok this is the bit where I sound stupid.
There is a piece of classical music that I really love and the only reason I know it is because I did it in year 9 music which was unfortunately 8 years ago.
The reason we studied it is because it starts off with one solo instrument playing something along the lines of do do do dooooooo doooooo and the eventually builds up until the whole orchestra are playing the same thing.
It sort of like a morse code of single notes and I am pretty sure it is Beethoven or Mozart and 5th or 9th ring a bell. It is frequently used on tv and radio adverts and is quite a sombre sad almost death march like.
do-do-do-dooo-dooo (told you i sound stupid)
Thanks for help (if i havent really confused you)

Dooo Dooo... Do Dooo Dooo
I know which one you mean but i have no idea what its called. I might ask my teacher tomorrow (A-level music is extremely boringly hard)
I think that the music on that advert was Handel's Sarabande.
If you explain to your music teacher its almost like morse code, single slow notes which starts off with solo and builds up gradually until whole orchestra is playing it. I am sure it is Mozart or Beethoven.
Thanks so much for offering help!!!
