The way the banks & their Executives are taking the piss out of the British public, High Salaries, bonus's Etc, would you consider closing your account with your bank & starting an account in the big 3! Asda, Tesco, Morrison's? would it work?

This is all being sorted out isn't it and i have clawed back a fair amount of charges now, plus I found out a couple of days ago that my old mortgage company have been ordered by the FSA to repay charges, so i am persueing that line now, might end up with enough back for a holiday!!! Chill out TWR, there's nowt you can do about the banks now and the ordinary staff who sell you the policies and the savings accounts deserve a few hundred quid bonus, i used to get £100 a month bonus if I hit my target for selling shoes, it's only fair.

Most Banks of the banks making large profit and handing out bonus, don't offer high street banking services.

Think about it ....
If I told you I could make you £10 million a year from currency deals and I had a track record of doing such.
Would you employ me for £500K per year and pay me a 25% bonus on what I make you after tax ?
Maybe not ..if I did not go to the right public school.

I know someone who works in Banking recruitment. A lot of banks will not accept candidates unless they went to Dulwich College.

If everyone changed their bank accounts to one of the supermarkets it would put thousands of counter staff in normal banks out of work...........including my fiance!

With repect Daffy, your Fiancee would be far better thought of by the likes of the Big 3 should he work for them in the same position that he is in now, I like many thousands of others are sick of the banks getting balled out by the general public especially when the big boys rub our nose in it with their Pensions, Payouts, then land in another high roll job, RBS that is a typical example.
