....The Hammond B3 organ had a special feature to the bottom octave keys.Can anyone tell me what it is and why is this so....All help gratefully received

I think it was that the colours of the keys were reversed. As to why, I haven't a clue, sorry.

They were presets, apparently.

I think if you read though this you will find reference to the black keys on each keyboard being presets.
