Well,I did a bit of detective work for you,but I couldn't find much I'm sorry to say.
Some of the music comes from part of the BBC's snooker theme,and I found out that there is a song by Ozzy Osborne called Shot in the dark,but that's not the one as it doesn't sound like it at all.Oh well,sorry!!
Can't help any further,but why don't you email the BBC about your question.Maybe they might be able to tell you.You never know!!

My first thought on hearing that was that it sounded a lot like this focus track. The guitar riff is very similar so maybe its another track by them?
