Title of well known classical piece of dance music
I've heard a well known piece of classical music called something like Dance of the Cossacks or Sabre/sword dance of the kulaks.
Everyone will know it if they hear it - it starts off fast staccato
da da da da da da da, diddly da da, diddly da da, da da da da da da da da daaaaaaa, da da, da da
I'm not musical so the notes below will give you a basic idea of whether the music is rising or falling, but there may be a few sharps/flats in there!!
CCCCCCC, ABC CC, ABC CC, C BB AA and going down till the daaaaaaa
Any help appreciated

Listening to this brings back happy memories for me as it was the one song my mother hated so just to wind her up, my brother or I would turn it up really loud whenever it came on the radio and laugh at our mum running round the house with her hands over her ears shouting 'turn it off, turn it off.' This was about 50 yrs ago!
