Great music, they were part of the great Bristol trip hop trilogy, Massive Attack, Portishead and tricky :)

Massive attack are still making music but I am not sure it will be the same as the lead producer (Jonny Dollar) who pretty much wrote most of the well known stuff died last year :(

''is tricky still playing music?''

Latest studio album 'Knowle West Boy' released in the UK July 2008.

1995 debut album 'Maxinquaye' reissued with a bonus 13-track CD.

End of 2009, Tricky agrees to work on a future Massive Attack project.
Question Author
are you a fan snags ?
Of Massive Attack, yes... apart from their fourth album '100th Window'.

New album 'Heligoland' has some good tracks on it. Look for their 'best of' album 'Collected': specifically the 'bonus 2 disc' edition, which has previously unreleased material on the second disc...
Question Author
are you from the bristol area ?? wernt they part of the wild bunch at some point ???

Nope... the other end of the M4: Reading area...
Question Author
ahhhh ok im from bristol and they have been around for yonks and then just kind of disapeared for a while but i always thought they deserved much more commercial success than they got their material is just 1st class x
I was lucky enough to do some work for bands/artists associated with The Wild Bunch in the early 90s around the time Blue Lines was released... imo Massive Attack's best album.
