I know that Led Zeppelin were famous for 'borrowing' established blues licks and 'abosrbing' them into their own songs, but did they clue Tom Johnson up about taking his riff (and quite a lot more!) from

However to say it is stolen from the song is obviously erroneous, If anything was taken it was the progression which added to.
You have a beter case with trampled only in the fact you could say both are stolen from classic blues riffs indeed the song was inspired by Robert Johnson. Trampled underfoot was written in 1972 and Long Train Runnin' came out in 1973 though I am unsure of when it was written
