It's a rock song I heard on the radio station KZQ. All I can remember from it is something about "house is not a home or my home." and "all alone" "better off alone" it's a rock song and I don't know many bands out there so help is appreciated! Thanks!

Couls this perhaps be House Is Not My Home, by a band called Zebrahead? The chorus has most of the lyrics you cited. If you Google search Zebrahead, you'll find their website. Hope helpful.
