Hi everyone,

Do any of you know who wrote the song "Mr. Rabbit, Mr. Rabbit"? It's a children's song sung by Burl Ives, with the lyric "Every little soul must shine, shine." I have a friend who recently had a miscarriage, and I'd like to paint something for her with that lyric on it, but would also like to know to whom to attribute it. Thanks!

Hi zgma - it seems this is a traditional song, old enough to now qualify as being in the public domain, so it doesn't need to be attributed to anybody. It's a lovely idea by the way, I am sure your friend will appreciate it and take comfort from it.
