Apparantly i'm wierd because i've never mentioned this before!
I like, owl city, paolo nutini, scouting for girls, take that, pixie lott, michael buble.
Plus some oldies such as abba (before the film came out aswell), queen and journey.
Music events i have been to are t4 on the beach, mamma mia the musical, thankyou for the music, rock with laughter and i want to go see michale buble, and owl city live . . .
I like rap a great deal - along with all the others listed. I think some rap is god awful but like all genres there are nabds/groups you do not like. I forgot to mention The Dylan in my post - pretty damn good.
My itunes library (16.5 days worth) includes amongst others Holst, Pendulum, William Shatner,The Vandals,Gabriella Cilmi, Adam Ant, White Zombie, Snoop Dogg, Scratch Perverts,Prefab Sprout, People Under the Stairs, Paul Weller, Moloko, Melody Gardot, Lisa Mitchell, Bob Crosby, Django Reinhardt...
I'd say i'd listen to anything but Country but even then I've got Johnny Cash and Jerry Reed in there somewhere.
Greedyfly, Bowie is the same age as me and I agree he has improved with age, both in looks and in his general personality and attitude. I think he is simply yummy now. His influence on modern music can't be beaten, in my opinion.
I have never gone overboard for the Beatles, even though they are of my generation. Always preferred The Stones, Yarbirds, Kinks and The Who.
Kinks again another great band. I have always had a bit of a thing for older men, Bowie is my ideal! lol
Shame he hasn't done much of late. Never got a chance to see him (too young) I did see the Who a couple of years ago as a work thing - they were good but not in the best shape (age permitting). Good to have seen them though.
I like stuff from pretty much every genre (including rap!) favourite artists at the moment include Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley, Florence and the Machine, Jimmy Eat World, Queen, JLS, Johnny Cash, Marina and the Diamonds (what I've heard of her anyway), Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons
> You can fit a larger drive to the iPod, the Toshiba MK2431GAH 240GB will fit (as will any other 8mm deep drive)
Are you absolutely sure about that? I've contacted several people who upgrade iPods and they all tell me that the hard disk in the 160GB iPod Classic can't be upgraded any further...
I like various kinds of music, some of the oldies, Sinatra Bowie Robbie Williams, Simply Red Genesis, Roxy Music. I'm also feeling a bit peed off because my OH left the Chilled Ibiza CD in the car that is now sold. I don't know how I'm going to get another one, loved the first two tracks.
