I got back last night, to find that where I live had better weather last week than Brittany!
Plus have I missed much in the news? That Raol person was in the news on the way to Portsmouth last friday and we heard about what had happened on the way home last night.
But the apartment only had about 10 channels, all were in French and we didn't see any english news. The only englishy stuff we heard about was what was broadcast on jersey's radio station as all the english stations had rubbish signal, not that i'm moaning, i'm stating facts.

I told you I was going on holiday . . . . . I started a few thread about stuff like useful french phrases.
It was funny because my mum knows more french than me, but apart from someone in a cafe not hearing if i said the word for strawberry or raspberry, they understood me perfectly but they kept repeating what my mum said, too make sure they understood her brummie accent!

Mollykins, Brittany is one of those places where you either get excellent weather or horrible weather. It's not protected by any mainland on the atlantic side so can be quite cool and windy. Hope you enjoyed it and welcome back to AB. Quite normal to get French programmes in France it's only if you have Sky that you'd see British TV.
