years ago (ok about 1995) my friend had this song on a tape from N.M.E. and for the life of me i can't remember who sang it or what it was called and i can only this part,

"down the hall. over the wall. through the grass. now run real fast"

i think please was sang by Donald Peers in the 1950s,
and Frank Ifield sang it in the1960s.
