if you google "High Time Lyrics" it comes up with Grateful Dead - does that help?

It's not the Grateful Dead song, sara.

perhaps it's a Stone Roses song!

Googling the lyric "But it's high time, witness a lie" provides a link to www.john-squire.com but Norton 360 can't verify the safety of the site, so I'm not too sure of the
origin of the song.

There's another video of this song on YouTube and the comments say that it wasn't The Stone Roses as they were, as John Squire had left the band by that time.
I think it is a stone roses song, the lyrics are here

And searching for the lryics only returns the stone roses.
Found this comment on a Youtube vid:

''I think Brownie wanted to put it on his first solo LP but lost the master tape''... which sounds to me like it's one of his own songs.

Rubbish lyrics.
Question Author
well thanks all, I'll tell the girlie it seems to be a Stone Roses song.

cheers :o) x
Fantastic group- I've loved everything of theirs, particularly their early stuff..... until I heard this one! Sorry sara3's girlie- butI can see why it was never recorded!
