What the devil has happened to that bloke who won the X-Factor?

Has he had a row with Cowell or what?  There has been nothing since that awful song.  Just curious?

wonder if he's learned his words yet?  Surely he'll sink like a stone...he's utterly mediocre and old ladies and Mums don't buy enough records to allow him to sustain a career.

Steve's a good guy. I know him and his girlfriend. Putting yourself onto one of these shows opens you up to all kinds of sniping, it goes with the territory. I wish him nothing but the best.

sorry chillum, I don't doubt for one second that he's a good guy....didn't mean to offend there honestly.   I was only giving my opinion on his singing talent (in which area I admit I have no expertise).  I would never wish him ill (tho forgetting the words to a song that everyone over 30 knows is quite humourous), and hope he makes what he can out of his opportunities.

I used to know steve many a moon ago, I agree with Chillum, he is a nice guy and what sharon said about him was totally unfair.  Agree that phil collins song was bad choice tho.
