im looking to buy a clock radio alarm. it says you can use an audio or mp3 cd with it, not an ipod dock. what is an mp3 cd and do you think its worth 99 pounds as it doesnt have an ipod feature. another similar model has an ipod feature but i prefer the other one as it shows you who is singing, playing on the radio .

It's a CD which you have written mp3 files onto, nothing more complicated than that.

Some devices don't recognise mp3 files on a CD, this one does.
It will play a cd with mp3 music files on it. This is different to an audio cd in that it will be able to hold many more tracks. For example, a 700mb cd could contain say 140 5mb mp3 files. I've used 5mb as an average size mp3 music file with good quality sound and say 4 minutes long.

With regard to it being worth £99, maybe search for reviews online of that model. Amazon is a good start.

can anyone please clarify this please as im keen to buy it, thank you.
I think it's too complicated for someone who's not too into technology.

iTunes tracks aren't MP3 so you'd have to convert them into MP3 and then you'd have to burn them to a CD...yeah, probably too complicated for someone who doesn't already deal with MP3's.
