When I was a kid "Corrie" was compulsory viewing 7:30 Mon & Wed and I must have watched 95% of all episodes up until I got married (and never watched another episode) I don't remember popular music ever playing any part in it. The Rovers didn't have a juke box and there was no incidental music.

So what is that based on :-)

Dave it's very clever marketing aimed at "people like me"..lol
all it is , is popular music over the decades, ZZ Top wouldn't fit the criteria of Ken Barlow..;-)
