My freind and i were discussing music, He said he had never heard a sound as bad as the sound from the playing of bagpipes, I thought well he had never seen "X Factor" then

i quite like bagpipe music i find it soothing, not as nice as the sound a harp makes though

He has not heard a trio I helped out one night, the piano player was 86 and totally wrecked on sherry and the singer was so out of tune he was singing between the notes..

Altough I really am loathe to point this out. If anyone has ever heard anything worse than a 70's band (and i use the term loosely) called Henery Cow then I don't want to hear it.

I haven't listened to them for a v e r y long time but I can remember thinking I was listening to someone throwing all thier kitchen utensils down stairs.

Dave - Henry Cow, along with Slapp Happy were the forefront of the avant garde music of their day - admittednly a difficult listening experience, but plenty enjoyed the challenge.

I have to agree with you though - I was not one of them!

Mind you,I adore X Factor, so you're probably dismissing me now anyway :P
