Ummmm I like both Dylan and Cat Stevens though both have had better versions of thier songs done by other people.

As for Cheryl not writing her own songs, Elvis never did and it didn't do him a lot of harm NOT that I am comparing the two.

Musics always the same as any art, totaly subjective but Cheryl seems to devide people over her as a person.

i can't stand cheryl cole singing actually. nor mariah, to be honest, beyonce does me nut in as well. i'm not sexist nor nuffink, just not a fan of wailing etc. i like kylie, katy perry and ellie goulding though, maybe i'm just fickle.

if i paid to see cheryl live* then i would expect tp see her live and bopping around the stage like a dancing monkey. **

Ahhh now see, i find it hard to knock (no pun intended) Jordan as well.

She's done pretty well with her life with what she had, her looks, ok, she's fettled with those now and looks plain odd. But in her youth and before all that plastic surgery she looked damn good. She's provided a good living for herself and her kids through the one asset she has (had?).

There have been far worse singers who have had a career so good luck to her.

I just don't do the cult of Cheryl but I don't begrudge her success
