I've just been listening to Sleeper's first album & think it's brilliant. I'd forgotten how much I like it.
Anyone else with albums they'd forgotten about or albums that seem unfashionable now but you still love?

Yes, the Sundays debut album from 1990 is still one of my favourites of all time

As a teenager in the eighties, one of my favourite albums that I still listen to is 'Upstairs at Erics' by Yazoo.

The first three 'Roxy Music' albums,truly magnificent and 'No Secrets' by Carly Simon' always a pleasure

think the greatest hits comps of oldies are brill,TEXAS,LIONEL RICHIE,M PEOPLE,ELTON  AND ANY OF ROD,they all go down a treat with my 2 teenage sons.....but not when the pals are round tho!

Aye, OK - I know I said "unfashionable now" but I actually meant bands that were good at the time but out of fashion now.
Not bands that were always gash like Texas, or bands that were always great like The Pogues.

Dear God - there are some frightening bands here. I've always pictured "natalie1982" as a great wee girl and you almost got away with that until you mentioned Gloria Estefan!!
